Jeff Wright is a collaborative leader with an extensive financial background and a passion for high-quality customer and business partner experiences. As CEO, he works with all aspects of the business, supporting its teams to ensure the company continues to offer innovative products and services that meet the changing needs of travelers as they traverse an increasingly uncertain world. Jeff joined Allianz Partners as Chief Financial Officer in 2019, bringing over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. He was promoted to the US CEO in early 2022 and NA CEO this year.
Jeff is active in the Richmond community and currently serves on the board of directors of the Greater Richmond Partnership and Virginia Learns, which brings together business and education leaders with a goal of creating a more innovative, relevant and equitable public education system in Virginia. Prior to joining Allianz Partners, Jeff worked at Genworth Financial, where he was CFO of the US life insurance division, which had over $80 billion in assets and annual revenue of $4 billion. He also led a direct finance and actuarial team of 130 associates. His work history spans treasury, financial planning and analysis, rating agencies, reinsurance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Jeff graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and he earned an MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Jeff is an avid ice hockey fan and enjoys hiking and cycling.
