Product Description: Kodo is a collaborative workspace providing any two travel companies working with one another, a unified and shared view on their business relationship, across:
- Manage partner connections
- Sync inventory and financial data
- Track mission critical metrics
- Align on risks and opportunities
Kodo is matching and analyzing key data points across inventory, orders and invoicing from both sides and is able to automatically recognize gaps, detect anomalies, uncover opportunities and track trends.
Business Model: SaaS based subscription model per partnership managed. Tiers are available for each side of the partnership to accommodate their specific needs.
Competitors: While no direct industry specific solution exists today, some competition can be seen in the combination of existing CRM, BRM and Bi solutions with one key caveat - all are focused on a single sided view of business data.
Competitive Edge: Over a decade of industry expertise and technical know-how in aggregating normalizing and collating travel related data, such as inventory, searches, reservations and invoicing with real world data accumulated over more than a decade from several hundred travel companies.
Market Opportunity: Focused on the hotel distribution space first, Kodo initial roll out is focused on the core hotel distribution space of apx. 50,000 companies with over 500,000 partnerships among them. From there we would expand to the broader accommodation industry, with the next vertical being air.
Long term, the total addressable market is any travel company working with another travel company by buying and/or selling inventory.
Early Customers: Launch partners include Logitravel, FlightCentre, SnapTravel
